Abstract

An autopsy case of endocardial fibroelastosis with marked dylatatoric cardiac hypertrophy is reported in a 2 months Japanese boy.
A few relevant literatures are reviewed and the etiology and pathogenesis of the lesions are discussed. Avairable evidence suggest that the lesion represents an abnormality of cardiac development.
