Abstract
We have experienced some cases of subcutaneous tumor. But vascular tumors are relatively rare. This report is two cases of vascular tumor which we have experienced recently. Case 1: A 47-year-old male came to our outpatient department complaining of headache and singing in the ears. He has no history of trauma. Pulsatile masses with bruit were found in the bi-temporal areas. This finding made us considering his complaint may be vascular headache. Selective angiography of S. T. A. (Superficial temporal artery) revealed an arteriovenous fistula (A-VF) . The A-V fistula were excised under local anesthesia. Histological examination also revealed this case as A-VF. The patient was discharged with much improvement after the total removal. Case 2: A 21-year-old male presented to outpatient clinic complaining his right temporal mass. He was struck on the right side of head by a ball while he was playing baseball. On this accident, he suffered from severe headache but had neither nausea nor vomiting. 5-days after, a pulsative tumor without pain was noticed on his right temporal region. Selective angiography showed three aneurysmas of S. T. A. We excised tumors under local anesthesia. Pathological report confirmed that the tumor was arterial pseudoaneurysma. Postoperative progress was good and he was discharged.
