Abstract
A female mosquito takes blood meal without our notice. So, it may not be strange for a medical worker to test the mechanism of their painless blood sucking process for invention of an automatic haemoextraction device. This review gives an up-to-date accounts of the following aspects of the process. The morphology of mouthparts and movement of stylets in cuticle penetration. Finding the blood vessel and phagostimulants in blood. Sense organs involved in blood finding and blood suction. The structure and function of cibarial and pharyngeal pumps. Monitoring blood-sucking process and the devices. In conclusion, some suggestions are made in applying the knowledge to a conceivable device.
