Abstract

In order to clear the behavior of soft plastic which included in the landfills on the slope ground, the soft plastic attached with strain gages are buried in the large box. According to the increasing of compression loads, the soft plastic is extended and tensile force is occurred. This tensile force restrains the movement of soil particles which is included in the landfills and restrains the deformation of landfills as a result.
