Abstract
In this study, we conducted a questionnaire survey to university students about their feelings of resistance toward the leftover of the boxed lunch. As a result of showing the photographs of the boxed lunch, the most students do not have resistance if they eat up staple food and a side dish in spite of garnish left. Woman is poorer at a feeling of resistance of the leftover than a man (X2, p<0.001) and the person with poorer resistance leaves a lunch more frequently (X2, p<0.001).
Education at home or a sense of MOTTAINAI (regret concerning waste) strengthen resistance and faddiness weaken it.
