Modeling for watering control in closed system disposal facilities

Abstract

It has long since closed system disposal facilities was constructed in 1998. In 2010, Guideline for planning, design and management of landfill sites was revised, showing the design concept of watering and leachate treatment facilities based on the liquid-solid ratio. However, there is a report based on investigation for real closed system disposal facility that relationships between leachate quality and the liquid-solid ratio is different from the guideline. So, a method of watering should be developed, according to observation data. This study investigated the two existing model for watering control in closed system disposal facilities and showed an example of analysis.
