Abstract
This paper describes the elastic-plastic finite element analysis based on distributed parallel computing. PC clusters and PVM (Parallel Virtual Machine) is used for implementation of distributed parallel computing. In this paper, a hexagonal plate with many circular holes, a cylinder having the first model in the center and a spherical shell connected with a nozzle are analyzed using 3D-mesh subdivision. The present paper considers computing time according to the number of machines and the divided sub-domains.
