Abstract
Instead of driving clock speed and straight-line instruction throughput ever higher, major processor manufacturers are turning to multicore architectures. Thus we are facing a fundamental turning point in designing computer simulation codes. In this research, we study optimization of an algorithm of "Element-by-Element Matrix Storage Free Method (EBEMSFM)" in order to achieve the full performance of recent scalar CPUs.
