Abstract
Recently, the cycle of the product development becomes fast, therefore, the development time spent in one product is required to be short. Furthermore, better quality of the product is also requested in the short development time. The quality evaluation of the product using CAE with 3D-CAD is general, now. That is, the decrement of the evaluation time makes the development time short and/or improves the quality of the product by increasing the evaluation number of times. However, there are many different kinds of CAE and 3D-CAD software. It causes to long training and operation times of operators. In this paper, a software system to offer a common interface and support advices for different CAE and CAD systems is proposed. It is developed by using the XML and Perl languages. The efficiency of product development and evaluation is significantly improved.
