Abstract
Several simulation models for traffic flow have been presented by many researchers. Our research group has presented the simulation model based on cellular automata. In this model, the vehicle movement was represented with discrete values. For representing continuous velocity in cellular automata model, the combinational model of the cellular automata and the optimal velocity model is presented in this paper. The model is applied for the traffic flow simulation in the city.
