Abstract
Sheet forming simulation is used for realizing high-precision machining efficiently. The plate theory applied in sheet forming simulation can't allow for a deformation and a contact force in thickness direction at the bending portion correctly. Strictly considered for bending, it is necessary to account for changes of stress distribution in thickness direction. Therefore, this paper developed the element which consider a contact force and a deformation in thickness direction.
