Abstract

Wireless power transfer (WPT), as a new charging method for electrical vehicle (EV), is anticipated for its higher safety and convenience compared to wiring charging system. Meanwhile, the performances of WPT, such as transfer efficiency and leakage magnetic field, are sensitive to the position misalignment between transmitting and receiving coils. Therefore, enhancing the robustness to misalignment is important WPT. In this work, stream function method, which is widely used for design of MRI gradient coil, is applied to designing WPT coil. Normalized Gaussian network (NGnet) is adopted for representation of the stream function. A transmitter consisting of three-layers coils is considered and the coil shapes of each layer is optimized respectively, with respect to the output power and leakage flux density simultaneously, with MO-CMA-ES as the optimization algorithm.
