Abstract

This study explores structural analysis methods that account for uncertainties in CFRP laminated structures. The focus is on linear buckling eigenvalue analysis, incorporating variations in thickness distribution within a CFRP laminated stiffened panel, which includes three stiffeners and a skin panel. Datasets considering the thickness distribution are assumed based on the specified correlation function and the covariance matrix. The Monte Carlo (MC) method is employed with FEA using shell elements to evaluate the coefficient of variation in the first buckling load distribution. Mean value and coefficient of variance for 1st buckling load were evaluated for various conditions and the results were discussed.
