Using the finite element method (FEM), we designed acoustic metasurfaces with resonance structures for sound absorbing and energy harvesting devices. Acoustic metasurfaces realize unusual responses to audible sounds at resonance frequencies with the sub-wavelength compact structure. Based on the Decorated Membrane Resonator (DMR) that has high sound absorbing and conversion properties into electricity by hybrid resonances of membrane and air, we first designed multiple-resonant structure. Next, we further improved the properties by combining with a Helmholtz resonator and periodic array of pillars. By arranging different sizes and applying closest-packed structures, the proposed structure achieves broadband response without a significant change in thickness compared to the basic DMR.
