Abstract
This paper describes the nonlinear vibration and the control of a vibratory machine which has a heavy work. Vibration of a vibratory machine and the movement of work are coupled through normal force and friction force. If a vibratory machine receives a large friction force, vibratory wave will be formed into triangular wave. Then, the amplitude cannot be control because of difficulty of the amplitude estimation. The triangular wave changes into a sine wave when the vibratory machine is driven at high frequency. Therefore, stable self-excited vibration is practiced using the control method which vibrates the vibratory machine at high frequency.
