Abstract
Insects are the most prosperous creatures on the earth. They have many abilities, such as the ability fly, which are interesting to many researchers because their mechanisms may have future engineering applications in, for example, micro-robots. In this study, the behavior of wing flapping of bees was investigated by measuring the displacement of the bees' back. The force generated during flapping was measured using a simple force sensor and the correlation between the force and the acceleration of the wing was discussed. The dynamic characteristics of bee's wings ware investigated under forced vibration.
