Abstract
This paper presents a method for estimating the exciting forces that cause the structure borne sound. First, in order to specify the number of the sources, principal component analysis of the operational responses is carried out. Secondly, the exciting forces are calculated using the frequency response functions measured indirectly and the operational responses. In addition, in order to evaluate the vibration due to estimated forces using the statistical modal analysis, a modeling method of the support structure that is constituted with some components are proposed. In this model, the estimated forces are considered using the shaping filter.
