Abstract
In this report, the validity of nonlinear vibration analysis by applying a reduction model is checked. Applying a ordinary non-linear vibration analysis method directly to a periodic steady-state vibration analysis of a system with large degrees of freedom, there are many cases that calculation becomes impossible because dimensions of treated matrices become huge. Therefore, in the most case, a vibration behavior of a large-scale system is estimated from analysis result of a reduction model obtained by applying the concept of modal analysis to a large-scale system. In this report, on the basis of such present way, the efficiencies of the method using a reduction model and the Incremental Transfer Stiffness Coefficient Method, which algorithm involves no approximate process without modeling process, are validated by comparing the computational result obtained by both methods.
