Abstract
The authors propose a new control method to synchronize nonlinear vibration systems simply by adding noise. It is found from a random dynamical point of view that a nonlinear vibration system and its copies subjected to a common sample process of noise are precisely synchronized with each other. The method derived from this principle works well with the forced Duffing system, the parametrically excited pendulum system, and the forced van der Pol system. That is, the noisy input results in purely random vibrations which are precisely synchronized with each other.
