Abstract
In this article, we discuss an experimental modeling of the kite-flying as an example of human behavior according to haptics. By reason of the appearance of randomness on that behavior, we utilize the Hidden Markov Model (HMM) for the modeling in the stochastic manner. The HMMs are estimated with the recorded sequences which show the string manipulation by testees on the kite-flying. It is exemplified that the acquired HMM parameters can generate the likely transition of state, e.g. winding and release, and can be applicable to measure the distance among the behaviors.
