Abstract
This paper describes the frequency entrainment that simulates synchronous flashing of fireflies. We used self-excited vibrator, which consists of signal amplification element, saturation element and phase delay element. In the forced entrainment and the mutual entrainment, when the difference of frequency between vibrators is small, they synchronize by small influence, when the difference of frequency between vibrators is large, they synchronize by large influence. As we considered the saturation element as variable gain, we could obtain the synchronization area from simulation by using describing function.
