Abstract
Measurement system of fluid reaction force generated on annular pressure seal was developed, and which was applied active magnetic bearings. And from flexibility of measurement circumference by design specifications, this system can measure fluid reaction forces generating on centrifugal impeller. It's necessary for the pump designer to consider dynamic properties of flow inside impeller unit and to predict exactly machine's dynamics under various running conditions. Therefore, an object of this study is to investigate the dynamic behavior of centrifugal impeller through the control of running parameter such as flow rate and excitation form. This paper suggests the importance of not ideal but fault analysis
