Abstract
This paper describes a method of motion control on the new hybrid AC servo presses and a practical analysis method for complicated linkage mechanism using vector method. The servo presses have both rotation mode and reversal mode. Therefore, operators have been able to select high speed processing and high precision processing in the press machine. Because of the nonlinearities in the linkage mechanism, the servo presses generate gear noise. We reduce the noise with optimal parameter adjustment, and developed simulation system of the presses. It is shown that analytical results agree with experimental results.
