Abstract
This paper deals with the numerical simulation of an axially moving sheet coupled with nonlinear fluid force. We clarified the nonlinear instability behavior of the axially moving sheet subjected to leakage flow. As a result, the fluid force becomes nonlinear with increasing flow velocity, and flutter occurs to the elastic body in the case of pinned-free condition. In the case of pinned-pinned condition, not only flutter but also divergence occurs to the elastic body. The flutter amplitude increases steeply, and the flutter frequency becomes higher with increasing the fluid velocity.
