Abstract
It is known that the fuel pulsation caused by fuel pump or injectors is generated for vehicle fuel line. This fuel pulsation caused noise and deterioration of engine performance. Therefore, estimating this pulsation in an early stage of development is hoped. So, we developed the fuel pulsation analysis method by using 1D fluid flow analysis software. Firstly, piping, fuel damper, pressure regulator, and injector that are main parts for fuel line were modeled. Secondly, simple bench models were constructed by using models of parts and calculated. Comparing the experimental results with the calculation results, the propriety of this method was confirmed.
