Abstract
In this research, it proposes the dumping by the magnetic repulsion type dumper using magnetic repulsion force as a method of suppressing whip vibration of the magnetic gradient drive high temperature superconducting levitation motor. Such a magnetic damper that generates force to be proportional at the whip speed can do the dumping of the levitation body. In this research, this magnetic repulsion type dumper is made for trial purposes and the utility of the dumping control in the levitation body is verified by the experiment. As a result, the peak magnitude at the sympathetic vibration was able to be controlled to about 1/6.
