Abstract
This paper deals with the vibration suppression method for actual railway carbody by using Piezoceramics elements. In order to investigate this problem based on shaking test , numbers of elements which should be attached on various position of the body are required. In this report, an advanced attachment method is proposed by improving the attachment devices. After carrying out tests by using two types of proposed devices, it becomes clear that effective vibration suppression can be obtained by the improvement of attachment device.
