Abstract
In order to control vibrations of machinery, it is very important to grasp the dynamics characteristic of the systems. Modal analysis is widely used as a basic technology for machine design. The impulse excitation method is often used from handiness in the vibration test. However, it has some problems. For example accurate excitation is difficult, and the result is influenced by the individual variation, etc. The identification method based on the subspace method is proposed, and the modal parameters are identified and compared with those of conventional method.
