608 Sound and vibration simulation of the iron club

Abstract

The discrimination can not be attempted concerning the flight-distance, since the standard has been determined the performance of the golf-club at present. Therefore, it begins to notice the movement that the discrimination of the performance of the golf-club will be attempted in feeling merit of the batting sound recently. In this study, the prediction of batting sound of golf-club is done by the method for calculating to begin with, velocity potential using eigenvalue data by calculation modal analysis of finite element method. Next, the comparison examination of sound measured actually and sound calculated by the calculation is carried out.
