Abstract
This paper describes a numerical study of Belousov-Zhabotinsky(BZ) reaction as a pattern formation phenomenon. BZ reaction is known as a chemical reaction colored chemical wave expanded from several points on the surface of the medium and produces a special geometric pattern. The purpose of this research is to simulate the process that the chemical wave generated periodically falls into disorder as the reaction proceeds, and finally the chemical reaction is completed. To simulate these processes, numerical simulations using Cellular Automata(CA) were performed.
