Abstract
In this paper, an estimation method for velocity and acceleration with a low-pass characteristics is proposed. In proposed estimation method, sampled displacement data are firstly interpolated with a linear conbination of Radial Basis Functions (RBFs) whose coefficients are determined so as to give a low-pass characteristics to the estimation method. Secondly, estimated velocity and acceleration are derived from analytical differentiation of the interpolation. The estimation method is represented as a FIR filter. Accuracy of the proposed method is compared with other methods and evaluated in the frequency domain.
