314 Diagnosis of Impulse Line Blockage with Differential Pressure Transmitter : Part3 Diagnosis under transient states

Abstract

Differential pressure transmitter with orifice is widely used as filed flow meter. This type of flow meter sometimes has blockage problem blockage in impulse-lines. Though the authors developed a blockage detection method for steady state conditions, consideration of transient states is indispensable for practical use. The result of the previous experiments clearly shows that increase of line pressure change rate affects our blockage detection method. Thus, suspension of diagnosis or other detection method is required for practical use.
