Abstract
In this study, a new gravestone is proposed and earthquake-proof improvement is aimed at without using aged deterioration materials in consideration of the life of a gravestone. In order to verify the earthquake resistance of the gravestone, an excitation experiment is conducted by sine waves and five real seismic waves. A new gravestone pastes up each part with the paste of cement, combining a tenon and a mortise. So the gravestone is unified. The gravestone is modeled, the eigenvalue analysis is conducted, the 1st natural frequency and mode form are calculated, and they are compared with the experimental results. The earthquake-proof examination of the gravestone is performed under the larger earthquake The response analysis of the gravestone is calculated by modal analysis.
