Abstract
Sound of guitar is affected greatly by amplitude and damping of harmonics of fundamental frequency of string. In this study, we develop mathematical model of body and strings which have tension and carry out eigenvalue analysis and frequency response using ANSYS 11.0. We examine change of frequency response and bsound quality by changing material characteristics of the body. From the calculation results by ANSYS, it can be seen frequency response changes significantly by changing material characteristics
