Abstract
The purpose of this study is to design a small sized bone conduction speaker by using piezoelectric vibrator, and clarify the correlation between the design factor and the voice articulation. In the experiment, artificial mastoid is used in order to measure the vibration acceleration characteristics of the bone conduction speaker. And, the evaluation of auditory sense characteristics and the evaluation of voice articulation under masking-noise are carried out. The experimental results show that the vibration acceleration characteristics are well correlated with the auditory sense characteristics and the voice articulation. In order to improve the voice articulation, it is necessary that the vibration acceleration in range of 2 kHz-5kHz was increased.
