Abstract
This paper describes coupled vibration of oscillators mounted on a plate which hung with four strings and shows experimental results and numerical simulations. The following results were obtained. First, when natural frequency of the oscillators and the support are almost equal, the amplitude of the support is very small. It is because the driving forces of oscillators are insufficient. When the number of oscillators is two, phase difference becomes 180 degrees, and it becomes 120 degrees when the number of oscillators is three. When oscillators are four or more, phase difference is not a steady value. Second, when a support vibrates violently, oscillators synchronized and vibrate with a corresponding phase. Sufficient driving forces of oscillators are required for large vibration amplitudes of the support.
