Abstract
A non-intrusive vibration measurement system using an ultrasonic sensor is developed. This system can measure pump shaft vibration from outside of pump casing. However, this system can measure only the vibration of the ultrasonic propagation direction. We are developing a method to measure the vibration of a perpendicular direction of the propagation direction by measuring the level change of the echo. This paper describes the result of test to measure the vibration of the tube which simulated a heat exchanger tube.
