Abstract
Recently, isolation and vibration control technology have been attracted as technology that can reduce seismic damage. Especially, a vibration control device is more easy to install in an existing building compared with an isolation device. However, to spread it to the detached house widely, a further improvement on the economy and the performance is demanded. This paper focuses attention on a brace type damper that uses high damping rubber. The purpose of this paper is to develop the damper for detached house.
