Abstract
The phenomenon that the powder in the sound tube forms the particle pattern like the wind ripple is reported. In this study, the factors which influence the particle pattern formation is investigated experimentally by changing kinds of powder and sound particle velocity, and measuring the interval between the particle pattern formed by sound wave. As a result, the particle pattern can be formed if the sound particle velocity is more than a certain velocity, and the interval of the particle pattern becomes long in proportion to the sound particle velocity.
