Abstract
This paper describes the control method to excite a MDOF system at resonance frequency. When the excitation point is corresponded to the detection point in the MDOF system, the phase delay at a resonance point and the phase advancement at an anti-resonance point alternately appear in the vibration characteristics, and the phase delay becomes 90° at all the resonance frequencies. Then, if the controller that has the phase delay 90° in a wide frequency region is used, the self-excited vibration is generated at each resonance frequency. In addition, the self-excited vibration mode is freely switched by changing the frequency of a minute sine wave that gave the chance of the self-excited vibration.
