Abstract
Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) is useful technology for purification of the exhaust gas and for better fuel efficiency in gasoline and diesel engines. Recently, many car makers have improved engine performance through positive EGR control. It is now vital to understand dynamic EGR with internal combustion engines running for better combustion control and for gas exchange analysis. We produced a fast response EGR flow meter experimentally to as approach of EGR system. In this report, dynamic flow rate at each cycle of EGR in single cylinder HCCI engine was measured and evaluated.
