Abstract
Frequency domain analysis by Finite Element Method and Boundary Element Method are used in vibration and acoustic problems. But recently, not only demand for quiet sound design but also comfortable sound designs arise. Therefore it is necessary to predict radiation sound in time domain at a design stage. In this paper, we apply CIP method for time domain analysis of vibration and acoustic problems to examine the transient analysis and the process of excitation of the vibration or acoustic mode. And we realize the prediction of sound radiation from the vibrating structure in time domain by using vibration and acoustic CIP analysis together.
