336 Reduction of air born sound radiated from the sirocco fan by using absorption sheet

Abstract

Sirocco fan having a big static pressure is used for ventilation of the bathroom or cooling of the projector. This paper described the reduction of an air born sound radiated from the sirocco fan when put an absorption sheet on the casing inside. And an airflow-static pressure characteristics and noise reduction was clarified when change the kind and the thickness of absorption sheet. An air born sound was reduced to occur by putting absorption sheet on the casing inside, but it became clear that maximum airflow decreased with it.
