Abstract
The vibration isolation bed for ambulance which can reduce both the vertical vibration and the fore-and-aft vibration by using the swing of the pendulum with a simple structure was developed. Optimizing the linkage keeps gravity center and an instantaneous center of the pendulum on the vertical line, and the generation of the moment is suppressed. As for the vertical vibration, rigid structure becomes effective to decline in the peak of response. Conductivity of the fore-and-aft vibration reduces by the antiphase oscillation of the magneto-spring. In addition, the vibration comfort is improved by improvement of the damping characteristics at the low speed with a magnetic damper. We evaluated the ride quality on driving. The ameliorating effect of riding comfort was confirmed according to the assessment index of riding comfort with acceleration of vibration. The possibility of maintaining the patient's cardiovascular system is also indicated by evaluation of ride quality using the physiological index.
