Abstract

Improvement of the sound quality is an everlasting problem in the audio system industry. As one method to improve sound quality, an audio rack is used. An audio rack is the rack which was developed to install an audio equipment. Sound quality improves by enclosing granular materials in an audio rack. As this reason, granular materials effects as the damper, and sound quality improves to suppress the vibration of the audio equipment. In this study, suppression effect of the granular materials which are enclosed within the high grade audio rack board is investigated from a vibration engineering.
