Abstract

The shutter of the camera is a device for controlling the exposure to the image pickup element, and the focal plane shutter is used in the DSLR camera. Rare uneven exposure occurs in the focal plane shutter at the manufacturing stage. The cause of uneven exposure is considered to be the vibration of the shutter blades constituting the shutter. In this research, we focused attention on the hole shape connecting the links. Transient motion characteristics are evaluated by an experiment in which a pin is inserted into a blade model having a hole and is operated. As a result, the rebound amount was suppressed by changing the hole shape from a circle to an ellipse. Also, if the hole shape is elliptical from moving image analysis, the direction of exercise was restricted.
