Abstract

Guitars with a fan-shaped power tree arrangement are the mainstream in the world, and are used by the world as a model guitar. On the other hand, the classical guitar is capable of producing a variety of tones depending on the technique used, and is said to be a small orchestra. Therefore, in order to produce a wide range of tones, each scale must be played in a standard technique and have a good balance of tone and resonance. In pursuit of a better scale sound, guitars with a power tree arrangement that does not use a fan-shaped power tree have been produced. In this study, we focused mainly on the treble clef, where a well-balanced timbre is required, and conducted measurements mainly on the scale sound of the first string. As a result, the auditory evaluation and vibration characteristics of the guitar were clarified from an engineering viewpoint, and the effects of the force wood and other factors on the sound quality were clarified.
