Abstract
A hexahedral solid mesh generation method by advancing front type method with templates used is presented. Based on the surface patches made of quadrilateral and triangular shapes, hexahedral elements partially combined with tetrahedron and pentahedron elements are generated in each layer using templates selected from adjacent information between surface patches. The computer program GMESH3D has been developed. Some examples are demonstrated.
