Abstract
In order to develop and design a large-scale industrial product like an artificial satellite, it is necessary to consider many angles of design and perform many analyses on various areas, such as thermal analysis, structural analysis and so on. Thus, design information will increase more and more as the design progresses into detail phase, and it is difficult to progress the design coherently. This paper describes design methodologies to progress the design smartly. These methodologies consist of stepwise generation of design information and multidirectional evaluation. Furthermore, design-support system based on these ideas was established and verified.
