Abstract
In the area of vibration performance analysis using numerical simulation, the mode tracking is a big issue since an order of target mode is varied when numerical model or boundary conditions is changed. In this paper, a new approach is proposed by applying the concept of Mode Assurance Criterion (MAC) to automatic mode tracking and optimization of vibration performance simulation with FEM. An automatic analysis system is integrated by process integration of iSIGHT with an application of Msc. Nastran. A sensitivity study with 81 parameters and 5 levers for each parameter is conducted for a bus model. As a result, the approach proposed here is very effective and total working day is reduced from 20 days by manual to 8 hours by using an automatic system.
